Scope of Project:
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation contracted Brayman Construction Corporation for the demolition and reconstruction of a seven span structure over the Youghiogheny River in Dawson, PA. PennDot’s accelerated schedule called for the bridge to be closed in June 2006, with a completion date of August 27, 2006. Brayman Construction worked multiple shifts, six days per week to complete the project on schedule. The project also included concrete repairs to the substructure, hazardous waste removal, and utility relocations. |
