Scope of Project:
Installation of 186 caissons for the new 18,500 seat enclosed sports and entertainment complex arena structure. Caissons ranged in diameter from 30 inches to 48 inches and to depths ranging between 20 feet to 80 feet. Shafts were inspected using Minisid technology. Project also included rebar cage fabrication/installation, spoils removal and the site survey. Multiple drill rigs were used to accommodate fast track schedule. Two (2) Oesterberg load tests were performed to determine rock strata parameters.
