Scope of Project:

The scope of this project included the deck replacement, substructure repair, and pavement replacement of the following portions of the Fort Pitt Bridge system:

  • SR 279 NB to the Fort Duquesne Bridge
  • SR 279 NB to the 20th Street Bypass and the Ramp to the Fort Duquesne Bridge
  • SR 376 WB to the Fort Duquesne Bridge Ramp
  • Fort Pitt Blvd/Ramp to the Fort Duquesne Bridge
  • Fort Pitt Bridge Ramp inbound to Liberty Avenue/Boulevard of the Allies

Brayman was able to finish the project one month ahead of schedule despite the stringent construction schedule.
