Scope of Project:
The scope of this project was to furnish and install soldier beams and temporary shoring along Route 88. The work consisted of drilling 190, each 42” over 36” diameter, caissons for soldier beams from an 18’ wide workbench. This workbench was located only 2’ above the Saw Mill Run Creek.
The work included furnishing and installing Class A concrete for the embedment of steel beams and reinforced steel cages. Brayman also provided installation of the soldier beams and timber lagging for the temporary shoring at one of the bridge structures. |
