Scope of Project:
Mine void grouting for a new addition to Pioneer School. Drilling of 6-inch diameter holes through the existing mine and mine void. A grout mixture of Portland cement and fly ash was mixed on site using a lightning mixer. Grout was placed via the tremie method to fill the holes. The depth of holes ranged from 30’ to 70’ deep and were drilled with a D40K truck mounted drill.
