Scope of Project:
Brayman was contracted to construct a soil nail wall to allow the project’s general contractor, Ragnar Benson, to continue planned construction for for this Hempfield Township Municipal Authority Expansion Project.
In order to proceed with construction, Ragnar Benson needed to continue the excavation to planned footer depth.This required the temporary use of shotcrete and soil nails to support a 36-inch concrete sewage line.
All in all, over 1000 SF of shotcrete was needed for the wall along with 26 soil nails, which ranged from 5 to 6 foot in length. |
