Scope of Project:
Rehabilitation project includes stringer and floor beam repairs and rehabilitation across the entire bridge. The 1,799 foot - 4 span railroad bridge carries two (2) sets of active railroad tracks between Beaver and Monaca, PA over the Ohio River. This project is challenging due to the strict closure schedule required by CSX Transportation. The schedule on this project provides daily ten hour single track closures to allow crews to make specific repairs. All repair and rehabilitation work is scheduled to be completed by October 2009. |
