Scope of Project:
The new bridge, a four span steel girder structure, is to be built on a new roadway alignment downstream of the existing bridge. The new construction will include two pile foundation abutments, one pile foundation land pier and two cofferdam and tremie seal river piers. The bridge superstructure will consist of weathering steel girders, concrete deck, and parapets. A single span box beam bridge over Sugar Creek will also be constructed for the new alignment of the roadway and approach for new river crossing. |
