Brayman was subcontracted to provide specialty geotechnical construction services in support of a railroad bridge replacement project located on the North Shore of Pittsburgh, PA.

Two replacement piers for Norfolk Southern Bridge PC-0.97 crossing over Federal Street require micropile foundation elements. Brayman’s work involves installation of 132ea, 9 5/8” diameter micropiles comprising 96ea, 218kip piles (5491lf) of which half are situated in low headroom conditions; and 36ea, 115 kip piles (1868lf).

Additional work includes two pre-production pile load tests.
