The project scope included the design and installation of temporary shoring systems for the excavation of the clearwell and for excavation of the corner of the treatment building. Approved shoring design consisted of driven soldier piles with lagging and tieback anchors. 18 rock and soil tiebacks were required due to the limited depth of the rock substrate.
The installation of 2,300sf of shoring was required to create two walls for the construction of a new water treatment plant. Driven beams and wood lagging were utilized for these tasks. A total of 18 rock and soil tiebacks were required due to the limited depth of the rock substrate.
