Dover Dam

Post tension anchors, spillway access platforms, underwater anchors, increased dam height via post tensioned pre-cast panels, 2 mile access road, shoring, caissons, soil nail wall, this job had it all. Along with the fact that it was a registered historic landmark, so Brayman had to make it look like we were never there. 50,000lb intricately detailed and color matched precast panels were used to raise the height of the dam and were custom fabricated by Brayman’s affiliate, Brayman Precast. The height of the dam was raised 13-feet in a few weeks. Precast cofferboxes were used to drill anchors underwater and expedite schedule while limiting the impact to dam operations.
