Brayman Construction held its 3rd annual Cub Scout Day of Learning on December 5, 2015 at its headquarters in Saxonburg, PA. This program is designed each year to foster interest in science, technology, engineering and math; commonly known as STEM. In attendance were approximately 100 Webelos Scouts, parents and leaders from 8 different packs from across the Moraine Trails Council.

The scouts attended various workshops to learn how bridges and other large construction projects are built. Demonstrations and hands-on activities were conducted by Brayman staff on welding, steel fabrication, rebar bending and tying, and precast concrete production. Brayman engineers discussed their jobs with the scouts and what inspired them to became engineers.  The scouts then took part in a creative bridge building competition where paper and tape were the only construction materials used.
