Utilizing accelerated construction techniques, the SR 30 Bridge over Bessemer Avenue was removed and reassembled over the May 20th weekend in a fascinating jigsaw puzzle like process.

Brayman started demolition of the 56-foot long, single span structure on Friday night at 9:00 pm, replaced both abutment stems, set precast deck modules and approach slabs and reopened the structure to traffic on Monday, May 23 at 6:00 am.

All work was performed quickly and safely, saving motorist weeks of traffic delays that conventional methods would have incurred. Brayman and Advantage employees, including those on site, in the office, and shop & yard crews, did an outstanding job!
