At a few minutes before 10:00am on January 26, 2016, Brayman Construction Corporation, based in Saxonburg, PA successfully imploded the old Hulton Bridge river crossing.  The 107-year-old structure in Oakmont, PA required 150 pounds of dynamite and 51 charges to bring down and land, as planned, in the Allegheny River below.

Brayman built the replacement span which opened in October 2015 with most work substantially finished.  Final work will continue this Spring as crews complete the connecting roads on the Oakmont side of the bridge.

Congratulations to the dedicated team for a job well done!
