Team Brayman recently stressed 245-ft long anchors which will be used as new anchorage points for the Wheeling Suspension Bridge. The bridge was originally built in 1849 and was one of the first bridges to span the Ohio River and was the largest Suspension Bridge in the world from 1849-1851. The Wheeling Suspension Bridge remains one of the oldest standing Pre-Civil War Suspension Bridges in the United States.
