This project is located in Gardner, WV along the West Virginia Turnpike at I-77 Milepost 13.73 Exit Ramp. The work consists of fully replacing the southbound bridge deck over Brush Creek with precast panels and parapets utilizing accelerated bridge construction techniques.

Brayman’s scope of work consists of replacing the concrete bridge deck on bridge 3006S for the West Virginia Parkway’s Authority. The existing deck will be removed in phases and replaced with precast concrete deck panels. The closure pours between the panels will be poured utilizing Ultra High-Performance Concrete. The deck construction also requires the application of a coating system comprised of a waterproofing membrane and will also receive a 2.5-inch asphalt overlay. In addition, the contract includes 1,052 linear feet of full-depth roadway reconstruction and 146 square yards of concrete pavement reconstruction. The bridge deck on 3006S is anticipated to be replaced within one continuous 262-hour closure.
