Brayman Construction has successfully completed the structural steel erection on the VDOT C94 Bridge Replacements project in Amelia, VA. The erection involved setting the girders and diaphragms over top of Business Route 360, and a Norfolk Southern railroad track. The operation was completed with the use of a 225-ton crane. This process wouldn’t have been as successful without the pre-planning and teamwork of our project staff. This puts the project on course to begin installing overhang platforms and deck pans with the ultimate goal of placing the deck concrete at the end of June.
