Multi-Phase Project: Phase

Essroc Facility Expansion

At the time one of the largest micropile projects completed in the US. Over 1600 micropiles and Low Mobility Grouting installed in karst Limestone as part of a 320 million dollar plant upgrade.  So much casing was needed that supply of the casing could not be met anywhere in the US.  Brayman redesigned sections of the project to different sized micropile casing to meet the schedule needs.

During the course of work, exposed foundation areas began to show signs of sinkhole development and prompted the owner to institute a low mobility grouting (LMG) program. Working closely with the owner and their engineers, Brayman developed a LMG program to fill the voids and stabilize the free length of the micropiles. As to not impact the production schedule, Brayman mobilized additional drill rigs and crews to perform the LMG work ahead of the micropile installation.
